The Practice will be closed on Monday 7th May 2018

Welcome to the Aberfoyle and Buchlyvie Medical Centres Website

Repeat prescriptions can now be ordered via Patient Access. (https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk)

The system is much safer as it is linked directly to your clinical record at the Practice.    If you are not already registered for this service, please see the receptionist for a registration form.

ITEMS THAT DO NOT APPEAR ON YOUR REPEAT LIST SHOULD CONTINUE TO BE ORDERED IN YOUR USUAL WAY.  You can also order your prescriptions and make appointments via a Smart Phone App.  This can be downloaded via http://www.patient.info/accessapp.

Receptionists ask for reasons for appointments because

Essentially, our reception team ask for the reason why you need specific appointments for the following reasons:

To make sure you get the right appointment with the right person at the right time

To make sure you get the correct length of appointment for your requirements

To make sure you get the correct clinician

Most of all, the receptionists are doing exactly as they are instructed to do by the GP Partners. The receptionists ask you for information about your appointment as they are told to do so - not because they're being "nosy"! Please help them to help you by giving them the information they request.

If you don't use it, we can't reuse it!

THINK before you order repeat medicines

CHECK what medicine you already have - and only

ORDER only what you need!

Wasted or unused medicines cost the NHS an estimated £100 million every year.
